Hi,
the picture I have chosen is the one showing the lunar eclipse.
This picture brings up several perceptions which can be transferred to the 360° marketing:
- There are different types of time cycles. Therefore one side of the moon is always highlighted. -> That means each side of an issue has to be examined before you start up with your strategy.
- Since the moon is always rotating there is a certain dynamic movement. -> Referred to the 360° marketing it means that you have to be aware of any variation, mainly when they are predictable. So try to do a substantial research in your business environment as well.
- There is always a sunny side and a shady side. -> You always have to be aware of the negative side of any matter. Therefore you always have to estimate the pros and cons.
- As long as there is no lunar eclipse at all you can see the complete moon. While there is a partial lunar eclipse you can see just parts of the moon and if there is a total lunar eclipse you can see just the outline of the moon. -> It always depends on your sight whether you can understand the complete issue, part of it or you are going to have just a rough idea about it. The best thing to do is to get the best sight you can to be successful.

I have chosen the picture which shows the soap bubble. There is one aspect in relation to 360 degree marketing, on which I want to put my comment on. From my point of view 360 degree marketing can only be good realised, when it is well organised, structured and transparent (like the bubble)for the staff and the people, who transcribe the marketing-activities of a company. If they do not know what should be reached with their activities or if they do not know how they should behave (for example) in times of crises, the marketing strategy will not be realised in the best way.

I choose the picture with the ball on the lawn. In my opinion a soccer game and the integrated marketing have something in common. The success of a team depends on every single team member. They all have to play together to win the match. In the integrated marketing you have to harmonize the different channels of communication. Only if they work perfectly together, you can achieve a well-balanced picture of your company and your products in public.

Hello guys,

I also chose the picture with the orchestra, which forms up in the semicircle. Thereby all orchestra-players fix their eyes on the orchestra-director. It is his task to lead the orchestra well. Thereby the players function as channels which convey the musical embassy of the work. For an uniform appearance it is need that the teammates are played in on each other, listen to each other and follow the instructions of the orchestra-director. Transferred to the integrated marketing of an enterprise a central control of the enterprise is necessary to control and suit the contents, channels and measures of the communication. Only in such a way a uniform appearance to the outside can be ensured. So the internal communication is essential for the success of the external communication.
The instruments of the orchestra represent the communication instruments of an enterprise. The instrumentation of an orchestra is not fixed but changes from work to work, piece to piece and within the piece. Depending on which musical effect shall be carried out, the instruments are used. Analogously to the instrumentation of the orchestra the composition of the communication measures of an enterprise (the communication mix) plays an important role in the corporate communication. The right channel, the right context and the right time of use are determaning, whether the desired success occurs.
Only the orchestra in team play makes it possible to represent the work completely and effectively. Also the corporate communication only shows her full effect, if a perfect interplay between the different communication channels and measures is carried out.

Hi guys,

I chose the picture with the orchestra. Here the conductor communicates with every single instrument player; TOGETHER they deliver music to the audience. Each instrument player is responsible for his or her instrument, and for keeping up with the rest of the orchestra. Instead of being seated behind each other, they surround the conductor, which gives each of them the opportunity to see each other. The aim of the conductor and the instrument players is to deliver great music to the audience. Following a developed strategy, they achieve their goal. I guess this picture empathizes on the importance of the communication process within an organization and to its market.

See you tomorrow ;-)

Good Sunday afternoon :), wonderful weather but nevertheless i thought a little about 360 degree marketing.

I choose the picture which shows a radar. Because - the first reason is obvious - it scans its ambiance 360 degree. For me, the objects which are shown on the screen are the different possibilities for Marketing. Some military radars can differ between "friend" and "enemy". And i think when you try do do 360 degree marketing you also have good and bad opportunities. Maybe you need some sort of friend-enemy detection for choosing the right way of marketing.
I hope you can comprehend my point.

so long, have a nice Sunday afternoon.

Hi guys,
my comments refer to the picture showing an ancient theater. I thought about the question if there is a connetcion between the ancient theater and 360 degree marketing.
When I was thinking about the question I came up with the idea that both the ancient theater and 360 degree marketing aim to influence their audience/target group strongly. To achieve this goal a lot of aspects have to be considered e.g. Web 2.0 or branding.
But that´s not all. You can also say, that the stage of the theater symbolizes enterprises being the center of their respective stakeholder-groups. So enterprises as well as theater groups have to be aware, that no matter what they do their stakholder-goups will talk about it.
